I recommend in a home environment to have a pinball service and have the machine inspected once a year. This tune-up will help prevent costly repairs in the future and have the game functioning 100% and playing fast and smoothly.

As the most used part of a machine the flipper mechanisms wear out over time causing stuck, misaligned, or weak flippers. Rebuilding the flippers will have the game playing as well as the day it left the factory.

From the pinball machine not starting or resetting, to all functions such as coils, switches, and lamps not working correctly - there is a chance the circuit boards need repair. Circuit board repairs range from a simple change of capacitor or transistor to in-depth diagnostics.

Pinball machines use batteries to store high scores and settings information. The trouble is when they are forgotten about and not changed they can cause lots of damage to the machine's circuit boards. It's essential these batteries are removed off the board to a remote location. Better yet the standard ram module can be replaced witha new NVRAM that no longer needs batteries at all.

Some rare machines are now impossible to locate parts for. Thankfully, we can recreate almost anything.
