Terms and Conditions

Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") set forth the general terms and conditions for your use of the jasonspinball.com website ("Website") and the services we provide, including pinball machine servicing, repairs, and restorations (collectively, "Services"). This Agreement is legally binding between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Jason's Pinball ("Operator", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. Your use of the Website or Services constitutes acceptance of this Agreement.

If you are accepting this Agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Website or Services.

Transoirtation and Machine Information

  • We may provide guidance on arranging transport of machines to and from our workshop but are not responsible for the safety or timing of transport services provided by third parties.
  • Users are responsible for providing accurate information about their machines and for any costs associated with transporting them.
  • Users are responsible for insuring their machine during transit.

Warranty and Limitations

  • Due to the age  (often 30+ years old) and interconnected nature of pinball machines, it is impossible to guarantee the continued operation of any machine or component after service, repair, or restoration.
  • All work is carried out with the highest standard of care, and machines are tested thoroughly after repairs or restoration.
  • No warranty is provided on the machine, or any component of the machine, regardless of whether it has been serviced, repaired, or replaced. Even if a part is replaced or repaired, subsequent faults elsewhere in the machine may cause that part to fail. Normal wear and tear, heavy use, or damage resulting from operation over time are not covered. This is a normal risk due to the vintage nature of these machines.
  • Components that are original to the machine, or supplied by the user, are not covered under any warranty.
  • We make every effort to perform high-quality repairs and restorations, but due to the vintage nature of equipment, no implied warranties (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) are provided for old or original parts.

Payment & Fees

  • Fees for Services must be paid according to the agreed schedule.
  • Due to limited workshop space, machines left at our Sydney workshop for extended periods without communication or without prior arrangement (generally beyond 14 days after being communicated as ready for collection) may incur storage charges.
  • Any parts sourced by the customer or third-party suppliers remain the customer’s responsibility.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Booked repairs, restorations, or appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Machines not delivered as scheduled may affect service timelines and could incur additional storage or handling fees.

Inspection & Estimates

  • All repair or restoration timeframes and costs are preliminary until we have fully inspected the machine.
  • Following inspection, we will provide a detailed assessment, scope of work, and estimate of time and cost required for the service, repair or restoration.

Storage Limitations

  • Machines left at our Sydney workshop beyond 14 days of being communicated as ready for collection may incur storage fees.
  • We reserve the right to remove, relocate, or charge for storage of machines that remain uncollected for extended periods without prior arrangement.

Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income or loss of use of the machine, arising from your use of the Website or Services.
  • While we take reasonable care when handling and repairing machines, we are not liable for damage occurring during transport by third parties.

Links to Other Resources

  • Our Website may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content or services. Your use of these resources is at your own risk.

Changes to Terms

  • We may update or modify these Terms at any time, effective upon posting to the Website. Continued use of the Website or Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
